Describe your item in detail:
Be sure to input informative, concise information when posting your item. We
recommend that you clearly state your return policy and shipping terms. Your
item description is extremely important in convincing shoppers to purchase
your item so be sure to be as informative as possible.

Include a picture of your item:
The image of your item is perhaps the first thing a shopper will notice about your
item so it is imperative that your item picture be clear and detailed. You can
upload up to 4 images for your item. One of these images will be the default
image that appears in your storefront when you add the item to your storefront.
The other 3 images are extra images you can upload to provide more detail
regarding your product.

Remove the background from your image:
When you upload an image on the sell an item page, you have the option of
utilizing Makatto's photo editor to remove the background (the space
surrounding your item) from your item. The background can consist of white space,
images of objects you are not selling, etc. You only have to eliminate the
background for the default image you upload since only the default image will be
viewable in your storefront.

Sign up for Paypal:
Transactions are currently made on Makatto via Paypal. It is required to have a
Paypal account in order to receive funds from shoppers. We recommend you sign up
for a Paypal account as soon as possible.

Utilize Makatto's Messaging system:
When conversing with buyers and other users on Makatto we recommend you utilize
Makatto's Messaging system. This will enable you to have a solid record of your
conversations with your shoppers.

Mark an Order as Shipped when it is Shipped:
On the Orders page (the "Orders" link on the top of this page), you will be able
to view all orders placed to you. Once you receive an order, we recommend you
"Mark the Order as Shipped" and include a valid tracking number. This
information will then be relayed to the buyer of your item(s).

Tracking numbers:
Rather than shipping your items in regular mail, utilize a carrier that provides
tracking numbers so you can provide the shipping information to your buyers.

Tagging your item:
Please tag your item correctly when filling out the Sell an Item form. It will
help visitors to Makatto find your item(s) more easily and efficiently.
